Peru was a country that tested our travel acumen. It was rife with challenges including from over 2,000 kilometers of driving through the desert to 10 days of rain, snow, and hail all while camping above 13,000 ft. on the Huayhuash Cordillera hiking circuit. That said, we were rewarded with some of the most spectacular mountain scenery I have ever seen.
